Yesterday over on Insta stories…
We shared some serious eye candy in the form of moody paint colors paired with beautiful interior designs. There’s nothing we love more than white walls, BUT a bold gorgeous paint color highlighted in the perfect way.
Today, we’ve rounded up some of our tried and true Moody hues.

Benjamin Moore – Forrest Floor
I am an absolute sucker for green accents in a home! There are so many gorgeous green paint colors on the market to choose from, and this one in particular ranks right up at the top.

Benjamin Moore – Tate Olive
Speaking of greens, this is another favorite moody hue of mine. It’s a more muted olive, and looks great with all different hardware metal finishes.

Benjamin Moore -Knoxville Blue
I have long dreamt of an organized, clean, and beautifully blue laundry room! Ok, ok, clearly I AM dreaming. BUT nonetheless, this shade of blue is stunning and would look amazing in literally any room in the house!

Benjamin Moore – Newburg Green
If this isn’t a moody color, I don’t know what is! We’ve used this color in several projects on built in desks, cabinets, and vanities. Technically is is a “green” but it really can look more like a blue depending on the light. Either way it’s one of our faves.

Benjamin Moore – Kendall Charcoal
We used this particular color in our last home to highlight a built in wall of cabinets and bookcases. It was stunning! We love this color because of it’s rich undertones which depending on the lighting and pull blue or brown.

Sherwin Williams – Emerald Raisin
This “new to me” color I came across recently and just fell in love with it’s interesting rich warm tones. I think it’s adventurous but still approachable. I’d love to see this color used floor to ceiling in a sitting room! Or anywhere really..

Benjamin Moore – Onyx
You’d be surprised to know that black paint, isn’t “just” black paint. Just like many other moody paint colors, what you may think is a black paint option might actually be much more blue or gray than black. Onyx is a true black paint that you won’t have to worry about playing tricks on you.

Benjamin Moore – Chelsea Gray
Chelsea Gray is one of our go-to warm gray paint colors. It’s a fantastic choice for cabinets and walls inside your home, as well as on the exterior of your home.

Benjamin Moore – Greyhound
Depending on who you ask, what makes a color “moody” might vary. For instance, some may think a color needs to be dark to be considered “moody.” In our opinion, what makes the color moody is how you use it in a space and how a “mood” is created. We love this fresh green/gray hue, and how it was used in this stunning laundry room!

Sherwin Williams – Grays Harbor
Frankly, Shea McGee and her team can do no wrong IMO! This entire Ranch Project they designed has the most stunning color palette of crisp whites, natural woods, and pops of moody jewel tones we just can’t get enough of!
We hope this post inspired you to add some rich moody paint colors to your home. We promise you will not regret it!
