We love and appreciate a wide variety of architectural exterior home designs, but we definitely have a soft spot for the modern farmhouse! >> I mean who doesn’t these days?! << Our debate this morning is - Are you team “edgy and dark” or team “classic and white”? Remember when we started revamping our awkward living room cabinet insets? Yeah, neither do I because it feels like a year ago. Well, we used this stunning design by @millhaven_interiors as inspiration for the moody gray/blue vibes because 🙌🏻🙌🏻 >> Even though recreating this look in our own space was a FAIL, I’m still SUCH a fan of going with bold and moody paint colors whenever possible!! I have lost HUNDREDS of followers this week, presu

I have lost HUNDREDS of followers this week, presumably because I have chosen to use my platform for something other than rainbows and sunshine. Which don’t get me wrong, I’m here for all the pretty things. BUT right now, it’s time for real change. And if I’m being honest, loosing followers is the LEAST of my worries right now. Frankly, if sharing PAIN AND SUFFERING, INJUSTICE, and taking a stand against racism, inequality, violence and a demagogue offends you - I encourage you to take a deep look into WHY. We MUST open our eyes and face the difficult images, we MUST listen to the cries for change, and we MUST challenge our selves to really FEEL the pain our country is expressing right now. NO I do not condone setting fires, damaging property and looting. Of course I don’t condone acts of violence. I stand with the black community, I stand with people of color who have experienced injustice and bigotry their entire lives, and I stand with leadership that is interested in doing the same. If that means loosing those apart of this community who do not or are not ready to do the same, so be it. #blackouttuesday
