Happy New Year Friends!

It’s that time where naturally we feel inclined to set some new goals for the year, and to get excited about what’s to come! After several years with the modern farmhouse vibe dominating the masses, we have a feeling home owner’s will be embracing some new design ideas this season! While still keeping with many details we love from past year’s trends, we are excited to see a more traditional layered approach to interiors.

Today, we’ve rounded up all of the trends we see coming, going, or staying in 2023. Enjoy!

Here to stay….

NATURAL STONE ACCENTS

A design trend we saw rising in 2022 we’re hoping to see ALOT more of this year, natural stone! On exteriors and interiors, we love the use of natural stone in a variety of colors and in a variety of mortar finishes. We love the use of natural stone as accent walls in living and bedroom spaces as well as a fresh new take on kitchen backsplashes.

ARCHES

Honestly, who doesn’t love the perfectly balanced use of an arch in any design. Whether it be an arched doorway, piece of cabinetry, or front door the addition of a curved line can bring any space the perfect amount of eye candy.

STATEMENT FLOOR TILE

Making itself known in 2022 were checkerboard floors! In a variety of materials, scale, and colors, checkerboard floors and other statement tile patterns have been on and poppin’ in the design world. Lucky for us, we don’t predict this trend going anywhere anytime soon.

CREAMY CABINETRY + BRASS HARDWARE

Used together or separately, we anticipate seeing more creamy cabinetry and brass hardware used in kitchens and more in 2023. We love this minimal yet perfectly balances kitchen design shared by @wdesigncollective

COOKING ALCOVES + STATEMENT RANGES

We saw many beautiful cooking alcoves in all different materials last year and are happy to report they are here to stay. Whether you are highlighting a more substantial 48″ range or bringing some added scale to a standard size range, alcoves are a fabulous and affordable way to incorporate some grand scale into your kitchen.

  • Wallpaper with color coordinated trim

And more! We can’t wait to see all of the fresh new design perspectives this year, and we predict overall they will be a little more traditional, layered, and colorful.
